    Mass communication is the study of how people and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of the population at the same time. In other words, mass communication refers to the imparting and exchanging of information on a large scale to a wide range of people.     Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising are part. Journalism is the production and distribution of reports on current events based on facts and supported with proof or evidence.     Mass communication, mass media and journalism are 3 different yet inter related terms with the flow of news and information to the masses.
    Mass communication is the process of spreading a message through any medium of communication.
    Like print, electronic, web, etc.
    Mass Media is the media/medium through which the message is spread.
    Journalism is all about news. Spreading out news through newspapers, TV channels, radio, web, etc.
