    The manufacturing and processing of metals are the focus of the technical discipline known as Metallurgical Engg. course. While pursuing Metallurgical Engineering courses, students learn about metallurgy, which is the Science of extracting elements, casting and forging them to make them into a bulk form, and taking those bulk materials to form them into stock shapes such as metal sheets and other metallic items. They basically get exposed to the properties of metals and the Science behind their extraction and refinement.
