What are my career chances if i qualify NET exam?Iam a final year student doing MTech Electronics.Please explain my other career options too
Sir, Iam a student with good academics.I was told that NET is useful only for Arts and Science graduates. What are my chances if i qualify NET? Where will i be posted? Whom will i teach?Are there any other better options for me? No plans to do PhD for atleast 3 years.I need some work experience now.

The National Eligibility Test (NET),conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) .
The Test is conducted twice(months of June and December) in a year in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, F

If you quality the UGC NET exam you can work as a Lecturer / Professor anywhere in India. You will then be given preference for this job. It will keep this avenue open. So I suggest you go for UGC NET EXAM. There is no age limit for appearing in it.

Hello,
If you clear the NET exam you would become qualified to teach in any UGC certified University. If you score higher marks in the exam you could also become eligible for JRF- Junior Research Fellowship which will enable you to do Research in an Indian university and also be paid a monthly stip
