    Hi Pradnya,
    I appreciate your consciousness about career. There are plenty of career options after B. Tech. as listed below:
    1. Can work for private company if you are interested.
    2. Can join PSUs (Govt companies)
    3. IES: Indian Engineering services through UPSC
    4. Higher technical education: M. Tech through GATE or MS through GRE
    5. Higher education in management field: MBA (Entrance exam is CAT for IIMs)
    6. You can prepare for civil service exams such as UPSC or state civil service exams such as MPSC. You can start preparation while doing B.Tech itself.
    7. Many others.

    After BTech you are eligible for jobs of engineers in MNCs as directly recruited. But you should do your studies from a good college giving you maximum exposure , platform etc Check for some good sites like PES, RV, LPU etc
