1) First you have to appear for the JEE-Mains and achieve a good rank (below 30k). 2) You should go for the counseling process and lock your preferences (textile engineering on the top). Sorry, I got the question wrong, you can easily change the branch. Only the top four students get the chance of changing the branch. Just try to score as much CG as you can and top your branch and based on the availability you can get branches like ECE, ICE, and mechanical. Hope it will help. Good l

To change the branch in IIT or NIT you maintain your CGP in top ten.
