What are my chances and what is the admission procedure to change the branch after opting textile at NIT-Jalandhar?

    To change the branch in IIT or NIT you maintain your CGP in top ten.

    1) First you have to appear for the JEE-Mains and achieve a good rank (below 30k).
    2) You should go for the counseling process and lock your preferences (textile engineering on the top).
    For general other state candidates, your rank must be in the range of 30k-35k. Textile branch has a great scope and you can get your M.Tech degree from IIT-Delhi and work in big textile firms like Vardhaman and Bombay Dyeing.
