What are my chances of getting admission in NIFT with a common merit rank of 6287 along with a category rank of 609?

If you have a category, I mean if you are an OBC, ST or SC, then chances are bright. You may get a very good NIFT Campus but if you're a general category student, then there's no chance. Not even a percent because last year, counselling for general category stopped around 1900 Common Merit Rank.
