What are my chances of getting Mechanical branch at IIT Kharagpur with an AIR of 1500 in JEE Advanced?

<p>IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between<strong> 415</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>20427</strong>. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of <strong>3613</strong>. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was <strong>10732</strong>. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at <strong>1721</strong>.&nbsp;</p><p>Therefore, a General AI candidate cannot secure a seat in Mechanical Engineering with the cutoff rank of 1500. However, the Cutoff rank to secure the course would depend on the category and gender.&nbsp;</p>
