What are my chances to get a job after completing engineering in textile engineering?

    In textile, there is a good scope. It only depends on the hard work you do. There is 100% placement and the salary increases at a higher rate as you get experience. So, to be a textile engineer is better.

    Textile engineering is a relatively new and least opted branch. In India, there is no such requirement of the textile engineers and the same is reflected in the placement session. The average placements are around 5 Lacs and the highest being up to 10 Lacs which is though not affordable in the IITs. Although the branch has 100 percent placement, the work field is not that much interesting. Hence most of the students after graduation opt for the jobs and resign afterwards. They start teaching in IIT coaching centres and their future growth gets limited.
