Looking at your grades you have fair chances to get into new IIMs and IITs if you score above 97. If you manage to score above 99 then you have a good chance to convert for old IIMs as well. Prepare well in advance for the interviews. Start reading newspaper and be up to date with what is happening around the globe. Cracking interviews is again a challenge as you have competed with bright talents of the country.

The main challenge lies in getting shortlisted for the interview rounds as your scores might not suffice. However, there is no certainty of rejection as such. Positive chances are there that you might make it to the new IIMs and some IITs in the second or third shortlists. Please do keep updated about spot admissions in these institutions. A lot of people clear through spot admission list released even after classes have begun.

You have chances to get through IIM B,C,L,K,I and IITs as well given the category. However the cutoffs change every year subject to the batch and hence these cutoffs are not binding always.

    Hi,
Yes, you might get a call from some IIMs but in most of the cases people with 99+ percentile don't get call letters. So to avoid that situation make your resume should be very strong.
