It will be very difficult to get into the top 6 IIMs with just 97+ (if you are from general category). You should aim to score as high as possible. I would say that to get a call from IIM ABC, you will need to score close to 99.8+ percentile and for others at least 99+ percentile.

You have a really good chance in getting into top 6 IIMs. Work hard and focus on all the four sections equally. I am sure that you will be able to get into IIMs.

Sometimes 99 percentile also cannot get you an admission in top 6, so get 99 percentile with a good interview.
    All the best!

You have decent academic scores. Try to score in top 1 percentile in CAT and you will land up in your dream institute. IIM - ACB seems difficult though but they aren't impossible.

It depends if you are belong to OBC, SC and ST, you can easily get the admission. But if you are from general category, it is so much difficult to get into black IIM and new IIM. Baby IIM could be a possibility.

As your score in class 12th is less, so it seems a little bit difficult to get admission but still should try for it.

You have to score 99+ percentile to get into the top 6 IIMs and also your past records are quite low so it deters your chance of getting into the top 6. Only if you manage a great score like 99.98 or so and have a good GD-PI only then you can get through the top 6.

Given your past academic record, you need to score at least 99+ %ile to get an interview call from one of the top 6 IIMs.

No chance. Your past records are not good enough, there might be chances if you have got category, still you will have to score more than 99.

Hi.

While practicing the Maharashtra HSC 12th previous years' question papers is an excellent study strategy, relying solely on past papers is generally not sufficient to guarantee clearing the board exam with good marks.
Here's a breakdown of why and what additional steps are needed:

Why Previous Years' Papers are Not Enough on Their Own
  • Syllabus Coverage: Previous papers primarily test a sampling of the syllabus from past years. New exams may include different topics or ask questions in formats not seen in older papers. Relying only on them leaves gaps in your subject knowledge.
  • Fundamental Understanding: Simply memorizing
