You son has secured good marks in both Jee & 12th exam. You can apply for NIT, but there is a problem that a large number of students have applied in NIT with the high score so you have to face some problem to get enrolled. There are certain chances of getting admission in the top good NIT's like NIT Warangal,NIT Kurukshetra,NIT Hamirpur, NIT Karnataka. u should regularly check the official website of JEE and update yourself regarding the counseling schedules. If u get chance u should try to get admission in the instit
