Coming to this mostly non- NLU or lower NLU students prefer doing LLM from top tier NLUs in order to get NLU tag. But that isn't of great help unless you are going into the teaching line. Same goes for NALSAR where after taking the LLM degree you won't get any ostentatious placement. Rather working for a tier 2 or tier 3 law firm initially then moving onto a tier 1 law firm would pay off in a much better way.

People usually have positive thoughts about getting an LLM from Nalsar, Hyderabad. Nalsar is one of the best national law universities in India, with a good academic reputation and brand that comes with it. The university has great infrastructure with modern classrooms, a fully stocked library, and other amenities for legal research. The graduates of Nalsar get good placement offers from renowned law firms, corporations, government institutions, and prospective academic opportunities.
