    The PSTET passing marks for the General category are 60% (90 marks out of 150). Candidates who belong to the General category and score 60% or more marks in the PSTET exam are considered to have passed the exam. However, it is important to note that achieving the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee selection for a teaching job. Candidates who pass the PSTET exam are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Punjab, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria mentioned in the recruitment notification.
