What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at DPG Degree College - DPGDC?

<p>I will share a few tips which will help you get through your college life:</p><ol><li>Take your studies seriously: a lot of students think that college is all for fun and games but they realise in their final year that they should've taken their studies seriously.</li><li>Try to clear all your exams in your first attempt: try not to fail your exams and write atleast that much that will earn you passing marks, if not distinction. A reappear really puts a lot of pressure in the later semesters.</li><li>Try to form a good rapport with the teachers: they will help you a lot in case of your personal emergencies or reasons.</li><li>Attend lectures but bunk some as well: afterall, it's your college life and you should enjoy it well. Bunk a few lectures sometimes and enjoy with your friends.</li><li>Make friends with your classmates as well as students of other courses</li><li>Try to take part in events and competitions held.</li><li>Enjoy your college life: it is a one time experience and you should try to enjoy it, maintaining a healthy balance between studies and fun.</li></ol><p>All the best!</p>
