What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at IIM, Kashipur?

<p>&nbsp;The fact that life at IIM is quite busy doesn't come as a surprise, but in the very acceptance of this reality it has led students to be ready for whatever schedules they have been given. On the one hand, students rush to class early in the morning and you'll see them discussing a wide range of topics, e.g. assignments or daily life, even when they leave the classroom at 2am.</p><p>&nbsp;IIM Kashipur has a strong focus on the holistic development of students. There are many opportunities within the Institute and it is in one of the most industrialised parts of the country. As a result, through frequent industry contacts and live projects, the Institute has a seat at the table when it comes to learning by doing. The IIM Kashipur believes in the link to industry and is committed to developing contacts with local industries. There are numerous opportunities outside the classroom as well - cultural activities, sports competitions or entrepreneurial pursuits.</p>
