    Tip 1 - Try to take part in almost everything to find out in which work/skill you are better/average/bad. You will not get time for this in your senior years, so use your first year for this.

    Tip 2 - Choose subjects and not teachers, even if the subject has long course, you should choose those subjects which will help you in boosting your placement chances and ofcourse, your innate skills.

    Tip 3 - Don't call your seniors as bhaiya or didi, try to call them Sir/Maam. They get pleased after listening and will try to solve your problems as their own. 

    Tip 4 - Do not miss classes. Not because your studies will hamper, but your attendance
