These are some helpful tips I got from my friend studying there, hope it will be helpful:
Academics: There are three internal exams per semester with a 30 point maximum and a best-of-two format. To achieve the best scores and decrease stress, study diligently before tests. To prevent a GPA penalty, assignments must be submitted on time. Concentrate on important topics for better placements and thorough technical understanding. In order to study in a constructive environment, enjoy the ESB library.
Extra-curricular: Participate in events and join clubs that are relevant to your interests. Attend early meetings and auditions, and be open...moreThese are some helpful tips I got from my friend studying there, hope it will be helpful:

Get ready for the next four years to be the best of your life, first! Throw out all of your preconceived ideas and start fresh. College is like a breath of fresh air in comparison to 11th and 12th grade when the bulk of Science students toil and hardly have time for themselves.
You now have the opportunity and time to build your personality, which is just as crucial as academic brilliance in my opinion.
I nearly sound like the author of the book Eat, Pray, Love, but these are my three areas of interest.

Academics
Every semester, there are three internals with a maximum score of 30 and a best-of-two format. Work hard before the tests and try to get the best grade possible because this will also contribute towards your final grade. Additionally, if you perform well in the first two, you will have less stress.
On assignments, being on time is crucial. If you don't, you can lose out on points! And nothing stinks more than a simple assignment being turned in late and affecting your GPA.
Pay attention to the crucial subjects; you'll need them for your placements in your final year. At the end of the day, solid technical knowledge cannot be replaced.
Additionally, I enjoyed studying in the ESB library because the atmosphere encourages productivity. So there's that.
Extra-curricular
I can't even begin to express how fortunate you are to attend this college, which provides the ideal environment for collaboration and creativity.
Definitely sign up for a club related to your interests, offer to help out at events, and spend time putting yourself out there. You might have to wait, but I promise it will be worthwhile.
Although it's acceptable to be unsure about your particular career goals, I truly urge you to show up to the initial meetings, auditions, etc. Dive your fingers into all the pots because there is simply so much talent to learn from. I was a member of the dance team, and I can attest that it was one of the best things that had happened to me.
Talk to people and network. If you live in a hostel, make the most of your time there by studying instead of spending it holed up in front of your computer watching TV. Never be slack!
Take action; you won't have this luxury again, so take advantage of the moment!
Explore
The historically renowned Ramaiah detour in Mathikere is Sagar Bakery, known for its CMS, or chocolate milkshake, and PMS, or pista milkshake, for gloomy days.
Truffles. I'll stop here.
Additional 80-foot-long culinary delights.
Tank Sankey.
Take a stroll through IISc or NIAS.
The tiny chat street close to Sanjay Nagar has a theatre there called Vaibhav, whose main source of income is from us students.
Best wishes to you, and don't forget to always get your blue books in advance.
You're most welcome.
