GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. GMAT Focus Edition the new version of the GMAT examination. As effective from February 1, 2024.
GMAT primarily has four sections Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning, and Analytical Writing Assessment. While GMAT Focus Edition has three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights.
The GMAT Focus Edition focuses more on comprehension. The Examination result is valid for 2024 and 2025 batch.
The fees for the GMAT focus edition varies somewhere between dollar 200 to dollar 300.

GMAT Focus Edition is shorter, has lesser sections (with the removal of AWA and SC), and has a newly introduced section called Data Insights (DI). The newly introduced section (DI) is loosely based on the Integrated Reasoning (IR) section of the current version of the GMAT exam 2023.
