    The University of Leeds was founded in 1904. It is a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities. The University is a part of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), which includes 23 research-intensive institutions across 6 continents. Moreover, Leeds University was the Queen’s Anniversary Prize in 2009, 2011, and 2021. The University has more than 39,000 students out of which more than 36,500 are enrolled in full-time courses. The University has a huge staff strength of more than 9,000 people who come from across 100 countries. In addition to all this, the University has more than 312,000 alumni.
