What are some pros and cons of studying in a BAMS college?

<p>Doing BAMS from one of the Ayurveda colleges in India has its own share of advantages and disadvantages.&nbsp;<br><strong>Advantages:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Traditional Healing Knowledge: </strong>The BAMS courses impart to the students thorough knowledge of Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine that believes in holistic healing through natural remedies.</li><li><strong>Career Opportunities: </strong>The career path of BAMS degree holders opens up many work opportunities where one can work as Ayurveda Practitioners, Researchers, Teachers, Consultants, or even Entrepreneurs in the Wellness Sector.</li><li><strong>Esteemed Profession: </strong>Ayurveda is an extremely revered profession in India and Globally too, as a recognised system of Healthcare.</li><li><strong>Cultural Heritage: </strong>One gets tuned into India's rich cultural and medical heritage, going through ancient texts, practices, and philosophies passed down generation by generation.</li><li><strong>Diverse Learning: </strong>Most BAMS courses combine practical training with theoretical knowledge, providing students hands-on experience in Ayurvedic treatments, herbal medicines, and therapies.</li></ul><p><strong>Disadvantages:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Limited recognition: </strong>While Ayurveda has been recognised by the Government of India as one of the evidence-based sciences of medicine, not all courses in BAMS are run with proper recognition or acceptance across boundaries.
