What are the academic requirements to start the 3yr solicitor clerkship with an indian law firm in mumbai? I currently hold a b.com degree.

I am going to graduate from the University of Mumbai with a B.Com degree in accounting and finance (BAF) in July 2014. I plan for apply for LLB as soon as my results come out but I would like to know if an LLB is a prerequisite for solicitor clerkship in India (Bombay) ?
