According to the law, universities do not need AICTE approval to run their guides. It is the institutes affiliated with universities that wish to be recognised by the AICTE. Since the LPU is a real university established by state law, it no longer requires an AICTE permit. Universities want UGC's popularity. I suggest you should consider that college for your Higher Education which is well-recognised and accredited that will not only add weight-age to your degree but will give the prominent recognition. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2021 rankings, only three Indian universities have made to the list of Top 200 in the World. LPU has outshined various institutions like IITs, NITs, state and central universities across India and has ranked high on parameters of Affordable and Clean Energy, and Decent Work and Economic Growth. The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the management and pharmacy programmes of LPU in 2019.
