Applicants may apply for the AFA exam if they have passed their graduation exams. Additionally, they have the option to apply through the twice-yearly CDS test. Through the AFCAT exam, individuals, both male and female, can apply for technical and ground tasks as well. Through the NDA, those who have finished their Class 12 can become members of AFA. After spending the first three years in NDA Khadakwasla, Pune, flying training will be transferred to AFA. To enter the Indian Air Force Academy (AFA), you can appear for either the NDA or CDS exam conducted by UPSC twice a year. Both involve a written test and SSB interview. Candidates after admission in Air Force Academy will not be considered for any other commission. They are not permitted to appear for any interview or exam after they have finally selected for training at AFA. No request for withdrawal of candidature received from a candidate after they have submitted their applications is entertained under any circumstance.
