What are the admission programmes offered by IIT JAM 2026?

<p><strong>JAM Score</strong> is used for admission to various postgraduate programmes such as (i) MSc, &nbsp; (ii) MSc (Tech), (iii) MS (Research), (iv) MSc - M.Tech Dual Degree, (v) Joint MSc - PhD.&nbsp;and (vi) MSc - PhD Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines by premier institutes across the&nbsp;country.<br>Admissions to various programmes using JAM 2026 Score can be divided into two categories:<br>I. Admitting Institutes:<br>There are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year 2026-27. JAM 2026 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test.<br>II. Result Sharing Institutes:<br>JAM scores will be used for admission to over 2000 seats for postgraduate programmes such&nbsp;as MSc and MA at <strong>IISc and various NITs</strong>, <strong>IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through Centralized </strong><strong>Counselling for MSc</strong> <strong>/ MSc (Tech.) Admission (CCMN).</strong> There are no additional written tests or&nbsp;interviews for admission to candidates qualifying JAM and satisfying the eligibility and special&nbsp;eligibility requirements through CCMN.</p>
