In order to enroll in the M.A. in Political Science programme at the Banaras Hindu University, applicants must pass an entrance exam. The admission requirement is as follows: 1. You must have completed or be enrolled in the final year of your Bachelor's degree. 2. The Bachelor degrees accepted are B.A. (Hons. ), B.A. , B.Sc. (Hons. ), and B.Sc. 3. You must have a graduation grade point average of at least 50%. 4. You have to appear in the CUET PG or BHU entrance test for MA. 5. You must score more than 50% in the entrance test to be assured of admission. Since there are only 77 seats available for this course, you must have a decent academic score to be assured of admission.

(Hons)/ B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.A. / B.Sc. - Must have appeared in the PET entrance test to be eligible for the selection process. - BHU allocate seats for counselling of the shortlisted students as per the cut off marks in PET entrance. - Candidates need to be present during the counselling date and time assigned by the institute
