    The general USM Mississippi requirements are given below: 

    • Freshman: The applicants should be 17 years of age by the first day of classes they are applying. Additionally, the strong applicants should have a 2.5 minimum GPA in core academic subjects

    • Graduate: The applicants are required to have an Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75

    A few of the documents required to apply are: 

    • Copies of academic transcripts

    • Proof of English language proficiency

    • SAT or ACT scores (optional)

    • Official GMAT, GRE, MAT scores

    • Statement of Purpose

    • Immunization records

This course provides students with academic skills, practical experience and multi-disciplinary study that will allow them to meet 21st-century public health challenges. Furthermore, all the MPH students are required to culminate practicum experience during their last studies of the program. Additionally, the School of Health Professions offers assistantships for graduate students at USM Mississippi, where students work 20 hours per week with the university's faculty in exchange for a stipend and tuition waiver.
