    Good things are:
    1. You have lot of opportunities in process industries with less competition. Like mechanical, electrical etc. Here more no of students are not pursuing chemical engineering. Therefore, it is easy to get a job as we have lot of vacancies.
    2. Chemical engineering will be more interesting and they have wide scope unlike other engineering branch. As you know, chemical engineering is divided into polymer engineering, cement engineering, petrochemical engineering, metallurgy engineering, etc.
    3. Big scope is there for research in different sectors where you cannot even imagine. Bad things are,
