What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing marine engineering?

Advantages : You can visit various countries while at work. Tax free payment if you spend more than 6 months outside india. Good payment at senior level. Interaction with multinational crew. Disadvantages : Working in a hot weather inside the engine room, which already has a Temp of 50C due to the marine propulsion engine and auxiliaries inside it. You have to work inside the engine room and there are some days when you will not even get to see the sky. Boiler is your only uniform for the engine room and you have to wear it, as long as you are working inside the engine room.
