What are the advantages and disadvantages of MCA and M.SC (IT) ? what are opportunities of getting a good job and growth ?

Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Software Developer, Web Developer and many more. Most of the Servers are running on Linux Servers. If u choose Linux platform as ur career option will be the futuristic approach. RHCE, RHCSS, RHCEV, JBOSS, LAMP, WAMP, XAMP CCNA, MCSE, JCP, OCP are some of the Leading Specialization areas where u can get some International kind of quality Certification. Don't u think that after getting Technically qualified Certification u will get high salaried technical JOB?

Hi Raghu, Firstly there isn't any disadvantage in pursuing any kind of education, what matters is that which ever course you pick should be an outcome/ decision related to your interest and not mere ending up based on the market view or views of others. The opportunities in either of the field is big and bright but will entirely depend on your talent and the skill possessed through the education. However, MCA is far more technical where as M.Sc IT is more science based course, hence you can opt for either of the courses depending on the approach of career you wish to be part of.
