What are the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing CSE?

Hello! Since, I have done my Engineering in CSE, I hardly find any disadvantage. Major advantages of CSE are : Computer Science Graduates Earn Higher Salaries Computer Science Majors Have More Job Prospects Computer Science Grads Join a Fast Growing Industry Computer Science Degree Holders Work in a Wide Range of IndustriesComputer Science Grads can Help Make the World a Better Place But, there are two major points to be noted to be a good software engineer. One is Talent and another is a degree from a reputed University. Based on my personal experience, Industry demands Talent which needs to be learnt during course of your degree. So, for talent you should opt for best University. University which gives you hands on training, Practical Learning, Training and much more. I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and LPU has them all. Good Luck!

I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer Science at Lovely professional University. The job market for computer engineers is constantly growing and Computer Science students have greater chances of being professionally employed. Campus Placement is another good gateway for them to land in a good position with an industry giant. Lacs of new jobs are predicted in the coming years. My college provided ample opportunities for full-time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Forbes Marshall, Bosch, Cognizant, Escorts, Flipkart, Hexaware, IBM, Infineon, ITC, Nestle, Radisson, Sonalika, Synopsys, TEK Systems, Wipro, etc. The academic team of LPU has pioneered a student engagement model, where students go for internships with the option of a Pre-Placement offer for a period of 6 months to a year. Hence, if someone to excel in this branch then he/she has to learn the basics properly. 2. Point 1 indicates that subjects are repetitive. 3. Most of the programming languages are more or less same but syntax is different. 4. If someone want to grow in this discipline then he/she needs to learn new things continuously as new technologies are arriving everyday. Well what can be the disadvantages in studies. If you have your interest in this programme you should definitely proceed for the same.
