Hello! Since, I have done my Engineering in CSE, I hardly find any disadvantage. Major advantages of CSE are : Computer Science Graduates Earn Higher Salaries Computer Science Majors Have More Job Prospects Computer Science Grads Join a Fast Growing Industry Computer Science Degree Holders Work in a Wide Range of Industries Computer Science Grads can Help Make the World a Better Place But, there are two major points to be noted to be a good software engineer. One is Talent and another is a degree from a reputed University. Based on my personal experience, Industry demands Talent which needs to be learnt during course of your degree. So, for talent you should opt for best University. University which gives you hands on training, Practical Learning, Training and much more. I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and LPU has them all. Good Luck!

I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer Science at Lovely professional University.
