Both the courses have their own advantages. Microbiology is a specific and narrow field whereas Biotechnology is a vast interdisciplinary course covering various areas of applied Science including Cell biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Plant biology, Animal cell culture, Stem cell technology, Bio
