B.Ed is a program designed to equip one with skills required for teaching at primary and secondary levels at schools across India.
The subjects taught during B.Ed include:
    1. Educational psychology
    2. Communication
    3. General awareness
    4. Philosophy of education
    5. Guidance and counselling
    6. Human values, culture
    7. Holistic education
    8. Education evaluation and assessment
All these subjects equip a candidate with necessary skills to undertake teaching, hence they aid in joining teaching profession post your UG or Masters. There is no specific advantage of doing this after B.Com. You may do a B.Ed post any other course too. After B.Com, you ca

You can do a B.Ed course after B.Com but doing M.Com is more preferable if you wish to teach commerce related subjects.
It will be better if you go for M.Com now and then B.Ed after the completion of your M.Com. This is because of the following reasons:
Going for M.Com means it will allow completing your studies in one flow as it is similar to your B.Com. It is just a deeper insight to your subject.
B.Ed will be a different discipline of study and you can get out of touch with your subject of study.
Doing M.Com will open up many more opportunities better than B.Ed which you can explore rather than going for B.Ed.
    Since you have the caliber,

If you pursue B.Ed after B.Com, you may opt for B.Ed specialisation in commerce. It will be more beneficial if you pursue M.Com (from Distance Learning) along with B.Ed. Then, it will give you dual benefits.

    Hello,
There is a misconception amongst students that B Com does not make them eligible for doing B.Ed. This is farthest from the truth. B.Com graduates indeed can do B.Ed.
