What are the advantages of doing a course in interior designing after B.Arch? Is it recommended?

    Hello, I don't think there is any added advantage of doing a course in interior design after Bachelors in Architecture, since and an Architecture Graduate would already be equipped with basics of Interior design. Yes if your interest and passion lies in interior design and you want to work as an interior designer than an architect then you can pursue a course in interior design which would enhance your skill set. An Architecture student passing out from any college has following opportunities which also includes Interior design, He/She may wish to be
    Entrepreneurs
    Architects (Junior/ Senior)
    Furniture design
    Photography
    Construction& Commun

    Architecture and interior designing go hand in hand. Think of it in this fashion: the building is the human body and the interiors are the clothes that we wear to look good and be comfortable. Well, I think you might have guessed where I am going with this. If you've successfully completed B.Arch degree you certainly have a design aptitude in you. It is not necessary that you go for Masters in interior, but it will certainly add a great deal of value to your design abilities and hence the final product. Many people might say that it's not required and that you can learn about it in a few years of practice in an office, which is true. B
