What are the advantages of doing integrated BPT and MPT together over doing both individually?

Smridhi, As per my knowledge, the advantage of doing integrated BPT and MPT over individual degrees is going to be manifold. One of my friends joined the course two years back in LPU and the first benefit that she told me is of fees. Whatever was the fees of the higher degree (MPT) two years back that would be applicable to her when she will reach her MPT. Another benefit that she talks of is that she won't have to worry about colleges and prepare for entrance test after her BPT because of the integrated course. Also, she says that she doesn't have to adjust in the new environment when she goes for her higher degree as both the degrees are from same place and she knows the place and her teachers over there well. So, looking at all this I feel integrated degree surely has benefits. Best of luck.

One thing you need to consider and realise is that integrating your degree adds two whole years to your experience. Generally, a double degree is a five-year programme. However, there are exceptions where they last for just four years while other programmes have an even longer duration. Students who complete an integrated course have the advantage of opting to pursue a PhD. The other advantage is that you don't have to take an entrance exam twice. If you are sure of the course you are pursuing, it definitely works well for you. It (the course) helps you gain exposure to various disciplines and focus on what you want to do.
