  • The age limit criteria for appearing in the PU CET (UG) exam depends on whether you belong to the general category or a reserved category. For instance,  Candidates from the General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. There's no upper age limit.

    Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Classes have the same minimum age requirement of 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. However, they are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years.

    The age limit criteria for the PU CET UG exam is as follows:

    •  Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
    • There is no upper age limit for the exam.

    Candidates are advised to carefully check the age limit criteria before applying for the exam. If a candidate is found to be ineligible, their application will be rejected.
