    I must say, Physics Graduates have a decent an broad career options. Once you are done with Bachelors in Physics, you may here are a few job types you can look at:
    Acoustic consultant
    Geophysicist or field seismologist
    Radiologist
    Consulting Physicist
    Higher education lecturer
    Radiation protection practitioner
    Research scientist (physical sciences)
    Secondary school teacher.

    Hi,
    I am in 4th year B.Tech and have been in a similar position in my 3rd year and this is what I have to say. There are alot of entrance exams apart from JAM such as GATE-Physics, CSIR-NET, JEST and TIFR entrance. Based on these, you can enter any great university such as IISC Bangalore, IIT M, TIFR or numerous research institutes such as RRI, HRI, BARC, or various research institutes. Just search and download a brochure of these exams to you'll get a knowledge of all possible options. So, if your interest is basically research, then there are alot of great institutes as an option.
