What are the aspects of life of an MBA student at Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), other than academics?

If your MBA is all about academics, you are doing it all wrong in the first place. SIDTM is a student-driven college which means that it is the students themselves who work on the basic operations of the college. To aid this, SIDTM has several committees handling different aspects of the college. Students have the chance to become a part of any of these committees as per their interests and skillsets - Academics - The committee is consistently involved in formulating a gamut of activities, which constitute a student's academic input. Alumni Relation - SIDTM (Formerly SITM) draws upon the rich experience of its alumni who have carved a place for themselves in the industry. The Alumni Committee serves as an interface between the institute and its alumni and organizes regular alumni meets. Branding and Admissions Committee - Branding Committee acts for the branding activities of SIDTM. The committee aims to spread awareness about SIDTM. On the student front, this committee deals with the student interactions during a pre-admissions stage in the form of 'SYMCONNECT', which assists in handling the admission process via aspirant query solving. E-cell - Entrepreneurship cell is the juncture for all the students who aspire to create their business avenue. It aims to encourage and provide a platform to unveil innovative ideas through many events. I-cell - An International Cell has the objective of assisting the students of SIDTM to international exposure through international collaborations. An International Cell acts as a facilitator to help them for exposure to Foreign Universities. Placement and Corporate Interaction Team - The committee comprises a dedicated team that reports to faculty in charge of Corporate Interface. And the placement officer SPARSH - SIDTM believes in transforming students into techno managers who can lead and excel the way to development and into individuals who can make the world a better place to live in. Team SPARSH takes up social initiatives for this purpose. Sports - It involves students undertaking various sports activities. It includes Intra-Institute, Inter Institute, University level sports competitions. Student Welfare and Fest - The student welfare and Fest Committee at SIDTM is one of the key committees in charge of the fun element during students' campus life. The primary objective of this committee is to add a new dimension to the campus experience of students by encouraging their participation in festivals.
