There are lot of scope. I am going to talk about the paths commonly opted by students:
Getting a job directly after B. Pharma: Graduates who do not wish to pursue post graduate studies or plan on doing them later try to get jobs after B.Pharma. Jobs are usually offered in the field of sales and marketing. Some also work as pharmacists in hospitals whereas some are able to secure jobs at manufacturing facilities of pharmaceutical companies. Some also set up their own pharmacy. MBA after B. Pharma: Some students pursue MBA after B.Pharma whereas some pursue it after gaining a few years' experience (usually in sales and marketing). Getting a job directly after B.Pharma is little troublesome, if you're not looking for job in sales and marketing and want a career in research or some other job then you'll have to pursue higher studies.
Students interested in academia and R&D take up M.Pharma or Ph.D. It will not only add a higher degree and greater career opportunity to your CV but also you can become a professor in Indian universities.
For this CSIR NET exam is held twice a year: CSIR NET Exam - Assistant professor.
