What are the benefits of attempting the GD-PI? Will it increase my chances of getting a scholarship?

    You don't have a choice whether you want to attend a GD/PI or not. It is compulsory to attend GD/What/VA/PI process to get into any reputed MBA college as that is the way they choose the best candidates for the course. It has got nothing to do with getting a scholarship. Also, although all of the top MBA institutions conduct GD/PIs for admission process, you may also find a few colleges who conduct Skype or telephonic interviews for the same.

    Your performance in the GD-PI rounds of any B-school interview is independent of your chances of bagging a scholarship, though they might consider your overall profile before deciding to grant you scholarship, provided it meets their criteria. Talking about the benefit, appearing for these rounds is a must if you want to get admission into the B-schools conducting by them.
