there is a lot of scope in civil engineering after graduating from a recognized university.
1. if you like to work in field there is a lot of companies offering freshers as a site engineering you can learn skill and practical knowledge and experience a real civil engineer life.
2 if you like to work in a office space go for design field learn software skills that is widely used for design purposes that was quick and easy with less errors as compared to design on pen and paper .
3 if you want to further study you can go for MTech or an MBA program in civil construction management course that is costly require initial investment arou...more -

It depends on college in which you are studying. If there are companies that come to your college for on-campus placements, then you have the option for campus placements. Otherwise, you have to prepare for various government exams or competitive exams. I think you should go for various exams.

Apart from IIT, top colleges for civil engineering are National Institute of Technology, R.V.College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University, College of Engineering Pune, UPES Dehradun, Lovely Professional University etc.
Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B. Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion.
