Apart from regular things like placement, infrastructure, dignitary visits, exposure and rankings etc. I would like to highlight the most underrated qualities of LPU. Course curriculum : The curriculum forms the backbone of any educator, LPU has a system of upgrading the curriculum in every semester. Since the placements, On the job training and Internships keep on happening throughout the year, the exhaustive feedback is taken from the employers about the functional skill sets of our students in practical environment. The further curriculum is then upgraded as the industry requirements after every semester. Discipline : The students are required to remain in discipline with regards to attendance, which is non negotiable. The course delivery happens in most dynamic environment, so they have to remain present. Entrepreneurship: Being the largest university in India with over 35000 students and more than 6000 staff members, the university campus in nothing short of a walled community or a mid sized town. Such massive ecosystem combined with the best brains in teaching fraternity provide a vibrant entrepreneurial opportunities. My experience in LPU till now has been great. Not just academics we get decent exposure to other extra curricular activities as well. This ensures that we are always engaged in something or the other and also helps in our all round development here. We have long past moved on from the traditional lectures in the curriculum to new learning and teaching methodologies. The concept of Experiential Learning is fairly practiced where apart from our lectures we get to practically apply the concepts in our live projects and assignments. This helps us build up a strong foundation as the basic concepts are most clearly and understanding difficult concepts becomes relatively easy. Here is why I think LPU is indeed a best choice specially for pursuing B.Tech. World Class Faculty : the faulty at LPU is well learned and clear with their concepts and lesson plans. Apart from delivering regular lectures they bring in a lot of conceptual information and industry trends which help us stay updated with not just the curriculum but also with what is actually happening in the industry. This bridges the gap between industry and classrooms giving us insights which Im sure no other university gives. Learning Methodology: As the university of the 21st century, the university is updated with the most advanced forms of teaching. Not just audio and video lessons from the industry experts we also get a hands on our theory concepts in the form of mini projects and home assignments. The concept of experiential learning is well practiced and we get to learn a lot more ; over and above what is written in our text books Placements: LPU offers world class placements. Because of the strong industry tie ups, top Companies like United Health Group, Verizon, Amazon, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Xerox, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Google (Alphabet), Microsoft visit the campus to recruit the best talent. Not just that, our former Honorable President Sh. Pranabh Mukherjee visited the campus during its 8th Annual convocation and spoke about how has LPU transformed the Indian education system.

LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC labs for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes. They will help you in getting better placements. After all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures, Regular educational trips, Real life live projects, Community projects etc. All are essential and integral part of the curriculum. Besides core curricula you'll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive. Also in today world knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. A Campus-To Fall in LOVE with ! LPU campus is spread over 700+ acres. I get to know when I visited to enroll myself It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel. I was surprised to SEE the diverse dining and shopping options available within the university campus. There is a state-of-the-art 8-storey mall which has shops of all possible needs, departmental stores, and gadget stores too. Diverse options of dining are also available within the campus, which range from traditional Indian sweets to modern coffee shops. Most importantly, it has various banks with more than 50 ATMs inside the campus; hence, students need not go outside for any kind of transactions. The campus of LPU is so vast that it has its own postal code and office. I would recommend you to visit this university once if you are planning to get admission for yourself or your anyone else. Thanks to e-rickshaw and local auto anyone can now commute easily inside the campus. It really is one of the largest and well built university in India.

I was pretty sure to go for my higher studies in a very good university and then I came across LPU. The single-campus university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Initially I was stunned by the beautiful campus and infrastructure and gradually I made my mind when I got to know about the university achievements and popularity. I took my admission in MBA and trust me the Business school in LPU is undoubtedly the best. I always felt that the faculty members were very much concerned to shape us and make us ready to compete in the upcoming placement drives in the next two years. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. Hostel: LPUs hostels have a good accommodation where you'll get a room with an attached bathroom. They have a large collection of rooms for 2 seater, LPU has the wide range of AC and Non AC rooms. Rooms are good to stay. I was also a Hostler at LPU and the thing I miss the most is the Hostel Life of LPU, those late night studies, looking for snacks at midnight and watching movies on the weekends was very awesome I wish I could live back those days. The schedule followed in messes are structured in a well-mannered form where your morning breakfast might be choices between various type of Paranthas and poha with or without butter, in the beverage you will get milk and tea. Where for lunch you'll get some seasonal vegetables, potatoes, and pulses. And for an evening you'll get milk and tea. In a dinner, you'll get seasonal vegetables, pulses etc. Once a week you will get a special diet where you'll get some Chinese food or Indian special occasional food. Academic: All the faculty members are highly qualified to have at least Masters and 7080% of them are even having PhDs or pursuing. These facilities are also having good years of work experience, so it might be good to consider that LPU is having the wide range of qualified and experienced faculty members. Placement: The placements are completely based on the performance of the students, because so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. The current placement status that many students got placed in the genuine companies before final exams in reputed companies on good packages. The college also looks for skill development for the student by providing summer training and internship in the final year.

Hi, Being alumni makes me nostalgic every time I think about LPU campus life. Lovely Professional University has a beautiful and magnificent campus that spreads over 600 acres in Phagwara. The campus has students all over states and 40+ countries of the world. It has 145+ programs in 55+ disciplines,150+ tie-ups with foreign universities,30k+ students, and 1400+ global and Indian super brands for placement. There are multiple facilities within the campus like university Mall, university Hospital, Food courts or kiosks, Bank ATMs, residential facilities, food facilities, and Transport facilities.
