Candidates cannot appear for multiple SMAT sessions with single registration. The exam is conducted phase wise so does the registration. If one wishes to appear for the exam more than one time then they will have to register for the session specific exam. The SMAT registration fee is INR 1800.
SMAT exam is conducted in multiple phases. Candidates can choose to appear for the exam in the session of their choice. If they are not happy with their score, they can reappear in the next session by registering again.

For admission to SNU MBA programme, an entrance exam score is mandatory. If a candidate wishes to not appear for SMAT, the university’s own entrance test, then they will have to possess a valid score of CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT exams. Only then their application will be accepted for admission.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.

SMAT result is announced online. Candidates can check their scores and download the result by logging into their account, created at the time of registration.
