    1. Verbal Ability: Read How to Prepare for Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and High School English Grammar and Composition to get ready for this section.
    2. Quantitative Analysis: You can prepare this section using either Abhijit Guha's or R. S. Agarwal's Quantitative Aptitude.
    3. General Knowledge: This section can be prepared from any GK book, such as Lucent.
    4. Sports Awareness: To study this section, you can read any sports magazine or newspaper.
    5. Reasoning: A Modern Approach to Logical Reasoning by famous author R. S. Aggarwal

Candidates cannot appear for multiple SMAT sessions with single registration. The exam is conducted phase wise so does the registration. If one wishes to appear for the exam more than one time then they will have to register for the session specific exam. The SMAT registration fee is INR 1800.

For admission to SNU MBA programme, an entrance exam score is mandatory. If a candidate wishes to not appear for SMAT, the university’s own entrance test, then they will have to possess a valid score of CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT exams. Only then their application will be accepted for admission.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.
