B.Plan (Bachelors in planning) or B.Arch (Bachelors in architecture), construction and project management are the streams you may choose if you qualify GATE for architecture and planning.

If you are concerned about the package, then go for M.Des in IIT-Kanpur. Microsoft offered someone INR. 20 lacs this year. Other e-commerce companies are there too offering good package. IIT-Delhi and Bombay has M.Des too, but you need to crack CEED exam for that. Now, coming to core courses, IIT KGP has Masters in City planning programme, top choice for many if they want to study planning in India. One of the best in the country (I'm telling this keeping in mind SPA & CEPT). I personally know so many with ranks below 30 and even in single digit. Now if you want to study construction management then you have IIT Delhi and IIT Chennai.
