    Dear Bharath,
In today's time Diploma in engineering is far better than a B.Tech. It is a good course, you can do Diploma in engineering from a government college after qualifying an entrance exam conducted by the state government. The fee structure is also low i.e. near about 12,000 rupees per year. After Diploma in engineering, you have more options of job. Either you can do the preparation for the government Job or do a private job. You can get admission in the second year of B.Tech after completing the Diploma.
