B.Com degree is to provide students with a wide range of skills in an area of commerce, accounting and management. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in account and finance roles. Some universities may allow students to specialise in a particular subject in a final year. In today's competitive age B.Com is not a sufficient qualification for a long-term growth oriented career in finance and accounting. If youre looking for a secured job after getting a B.Com degree, you should be submitting applications for various examinations conducted by UPSC, SSC, Railways, and Defence (Army, Navy and Air Force).
