Demand for ERP professionals are increasing day by day. The growth in ERP implementations in Indian industrial sector has created job opportunities for professionals opting for a career in ERP Package implementation and maintenance. The opportunity has opened up a scenario where the primary demand for career in ERP is for the Functional Consultant and the Technical Consultant. An ERP consultant generally provides support related to a company's enterprise resource planning. ERP consultants help bring a client’s ERP-related ideas to fruition, as well as assist the company in resource-planning decisions.
