What are the career & job prospects in India for PHP?

PHP is basically used for developing web based software applications. PHP is used in server-side scripting, command line scripting and for writing desktop applications. PHP can be used on all major operating systems, including Linux, many UNIX variants (including Himachal Pradesh-UX, Solaris and OpenBSD), Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, RISC OS, and probably others. PHP also has support for most of the web servers today. This includes Apache, IIS, and many others. And this includes any web server that can utilize the FastCGI PHP binary, like LIGHTTPD and NGINX. PHP works as either a module, or as a CGI processor. PHP is easy to learn. Knowing only PHP has very limited career scope in India. Most of the jobs in PHP are with small IT shops. PHP with other IT skills is good for IT development career. PHP developers can do freelancing projects as well seek part time contract job of developer I IT industry. All the best.

It is an open-source scripting language and is being used by many It is also an easy to learn programming language Also has huge community support If the PHP code is written and executed properly, undoubtedly it will become one of the efficient web languages. Why PHP is a better choice? Though both Java and PHP are common as well as integral to modern web and are also equally indispensable. But for beginners PHP is the obvious choice because: It requires less programming knowledge More accessible to inexperienced users Flexible Fast And an open source scripting language Conclusion: No programming language is better or worse, it all depends on the perception of the individuals who intend to learn these scripts. As a beginner, pick up a language that is small, easy to learn, that gives less challenge initially and one that offers fun and adventure, while learning. Once you get a hold on one language, picking up a new language will become easy all the way. And when you master both PHP and Java, you'll out to be an outstanding and versatile web developer. It's an open-source scripting language that lots of people use. Additionally, it is a programming language with a large amount of community support. If PHP code is properly designed and executed, it will surely rank among the most effective web languages. Why is PHP a better option? Although Java and PHP are both widely used, essential to the current web, and equally necessary.

Hello, There are less openings for JAVA as compared to PHP and other languages because JAVA is ever green platform for robust application development and it can be only used in big companies as small companies do not hold such big applications. If you want to get jobs on JAVA need to smart enough with latest updates and technologies and withstand in competition and also grab the opportunity. On the other hand, PHP is not like JAVA, it can be used by many companies hence openings more. Compare to java packages will be less in India. So I would suggest you to go for PHP.
