    QA is all about finding bugs before they get to the customer. Companies that make mission-critical or life-saving software, of course, take bugs very seriously and invest heavily in finding them. These are good QA jobs.
    There are also commercial software companies that are ISO 9001 certified for software development and who develop high-quality software because their customers are willing to spend the extra money to pay for software that has been carefully tested.
