Hello, The question here seems quite unclear. The question fails to implicate which certification course for Routing and Switching is being questioned? Routing and Switching certifications can be of 3 types- * General certifications, which can be provided by any hardware and networking training institutes. * CISCO certified CCIE certification, which is provided by CISCO and covers the fundamentals with a bit of in-depth knowledge in Switching and Routing, focused to the CISCO devices. * CISCO certified CCNP certification, which is provided by CISCO and covers completely in-depth information on Switching and Routing focusing on CISCO devices. For the general certifications, it is difficult to predict the career prospects as it depends on the curriculum designed by the institute and the in-depth knowledge provided by the institute on the topics. For CCIE and CCNP certification, it is recommended to pursue CCIE, followed by CCNP to gain complete knowledge of Switching and Routing in CISCO devices. One could work as a Network Technician or Network administrator in companies that use CISCO devices for networking.
