What are the career options after completing B.Pharma?

If you are looking for PR, diplomas are the best as those are for a year and gives you opportunity to work as well. For registering as a pharmacist, follow these steps. 1. First of all your back home degree should be evaluated by Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada.(PEBC, Canada) 2. Then you have to pass two exams conducted by PEBC called ' Evaluating Exam and Qualifying Exam'. 3. Once you pass the above two exams (PEBC Evaluation and Qualifying exams) you will be given a certificate called 'Certificate of qualification' by PEBC4. Now it's your turn to choose which province you would like to practice and obtain English score according to that province regulation 5.Next you have to finish sufficient hours of training in the pharmacy (usually there are 2 stages of training, studentship and internship) 6.Finally, pass the Law exam (Jurisprudence exam) and get the ' Pharmacist License '. Getting a job directly after B.Pharm is a little troublesome if you're not looking for a job in sales and marketing and want to make your career in the research field or some other job then you'll have to pursue higher studies. Students interested in academia and R&D take up M.Pharm or Ph.D. It will not only add a higher degree and greater career opportunity to your CV but also, you can become a professor in the Indian universities. For this CSIR NET exam is held twice a year: CSIR NET Exam - Assistant professor Other career options are: Pharmacist Drug Inspector Drug squad in police department Technician in college Medical underwriter CRO Data validation associate Pharmacy entrepreneur - like Norman Niven Employee or entrepreneur. What type of pharmacist are you? Production & Quality Assurance in Pharmacy companies. If you are familiar with C+, you can plan to learn Bio Suite software that is widely used in big Pharma companies. MBA in pharmacy is another career option one can opt for.
